Viewing Bill of Lading and Container Information Details

The Import - Bill of Lading Information page appears when you use either QuickTrack or the MultiTrack window to report on one or more bills of lading.

The Import - Container Information page appears when you use either QuickTrack or the MultiTrack window to report on one or more specific containers.

Bill of Lading Information

BOL # column

Displays the bill of lading number.

SSCO column

Displays the name of the steamship company associated with this bill of lading.

Voyage # column

Displays the voyage number associated with this bill of lading.

Vessel Name column

Displays the vessel name.

Customs Status column

Displays the current U.S. Customs status of this bill of lading.

USDA Status column

Displays the current USDA status of this bill of lading.

Carrier Release Status column

Displays the carrier release status of this bill of lading.

Container Information

Container Notification column

Select to make one or more transactions available for notifications. To select all transactions, select the check box in the Container Notification column heading. For details on requesting notifications, see Related Topics.

Container Number column

Displays the container number.

Available? column

Displays Yes if the container is available, or No if it is not available.

note.gif If the value in this column is No, then one of the following will also be shown: a Hold status in the Customs Status, Freight Status, or USDA Status, columns; or a hold type or Multiple in the Misc. Holds column (see Misc. Holds description below for details).

Location column

Displays the current location of this container: In Yard, On Ship, Ship > Yard, or Inland.

 Ship > Yard indicates that the container is currently part of either a vessel operation or a yard operation, making it temporarily unavailable. Click the Ship > Yard link to view a message including the approximate time when updated information will become available.

Yard Name column

Displays the name of the yard if more than one yard is available. If only one yard is available, this field is blank.

Customs Status column

Displays the current U.S. Customs status of this container.

Freight Status column

Displays the current steamship company release status of this container.

USDA Status column

Displays the current USDA status of this container.

Misc. Holds column

Displays one of the following:

  • The hold type (for example, Terminal) if there is one hold other than Customs, Freight, or USDA.

  • The word Multiple (formatted as a link) if there are multiple holds other than Customs, Freight, or USDA. Click the link to view a message showing the container number and hold types.

  • The word None if there are no miscellaneous holds on this container.

Demurrage Due? column

Displays No if demurrage is not due, Yes, Pay or Guaranteed, Pay if it is due, or Paid if it has been fully paid. Click the Pay link to use the online payment feature.

Demurrage Amount Future column

Displays the demurrage amount due. Click the Future link in the column heading to use the Demurrage Calculator.

Last Free Day column

Displays the date of the last free day before demurrage begins to accrue on this container. If the last free day has passed, this date is shown in red.

SSCO column

Displays the steamship company associated with this container.

Length column

Displays the container length in feet.

Type column

Displays the container type, for example, Standard or Reefer.
